Southridge Elementary

Southridge Elementary School is home to the Superstars! We believe in teaching, learning, and living The Superstar Way. That means we are kind to everyone, do our best in all we do, and try to learn all we can. In addition, we build character through high expectations and modeling, create a sense of community through family involvement and celebrations, and inspire a passion for learning and growth.

 

Southridge has approximately 320 students in Classic Kindergarten – Fifth Grade. The school is large enough to have a variety of exciting opportunities and small enough to feel like home. Please stop by and see us!

 

Southridge Elementary students learn the Wyoming State Standards through an instructional program that integrates technology and provides real-life problem solving experiences. Our teaching staff are trained to implement the Science of Reading in all grade levels. The schedule is built to allow for interventions, enrichment, and extensions during the school day. Teachers plan together and discuss student progress regularly to ensure that each student is getting what he/she needs. Just as important, staff communicate with families regularly. Our students' families are a vital part of our school family.

 

Students may choose to participate in a variety of clubs at Southridge. Students can ask their teacher or the office staff for a full list of clubs. 

 

Southridge is a family school. We have many parent volunteers and other opportunities for parent involvement. We look forward to seeing our families on campus!

 

The opening bell at Southridge rings at 8:45 a.m., and the dismissal bell rings at 3:30 p.m. Breakfast is served from 8:05 – 8:30 a.m.
