Vision: Crest Hill is a community where everyone feels safe, valued, and supported to reach their full potential and educational excellence.
Mission: Engage, Encourage, and Empower to EXCEL!

Crest Hill Elementary, home of the Dragons, is located at the base of Casper Mountain and serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. At Crest Hill, we provide a safe, inclusive, and empathetic learning environment where every child can thrive. We firmly believe that every student has the potential to achieve greatness, and it is our responsibility to nurture and support their unique talents and abilities. Our dedicated staff is committed to fostering a love of learning and encouraging our students to strive for excellence in all they do.

We believe that the partnership between home and school is crucial to a child's success. Parent involvement and support play a significant role in the educational experience. We encourage parents to become active participants in our school community through volunteering in the classroom, participating in school events, or joining the PTO.

Our focus is on providing a well-rounded education that challenges and inspires our students. We emphasize academic excellence while also prioritizing the social and emotional well-being of each child. By fostering a culture of kindness, respect, and empathy, we aim to equip our students with the skills they need to navigate the world confidently and compassionately.

Curriculum

At Crest Hill, all students have access to Natrona County School District’s Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum. Teachers use Wit & Wisdom for English Language Arts (ELA) and students work independently, in small groups, and as a whole class in reading and writing. All students are explicitly taught phonics skills in kindergarten through second grade. UFLI, Secret Stories, and Heggerty are used to support all areas of quality ELA instruction. Eureka2 is the main math resource in grades K-5. Xtra Math is used to increase fact fluency. ELA and Math concepts are embedded in Science and Social Studies instruction, and students have the opportunity for hands-on learning and field trips throughout the year. All students have weekly Art, Music, PE, and Library instruction with our highly qualified staff. Students also learn self-regulation, community building, empathy, and conflict resolution skills.
