COVID-19 Communication Update - March 12, 2021

Governor Gordon recently announced the statewide mask mandate would be lifted beginning on March 16th, 2021. Under the new statewide health orders, which will begin on March 16th, 2021, public face-covering requirements and other restrictions to local businesses are lifted.

In his press release, Governor Gordon identified the face-covering order “will remain in place in K-12 schools as a safety measure to ensure that classroom learning and all student activities can continue to occur safely.”

The Natrona County School District will continue to follow statewide mandated health orders, which at this time continue to require the wearing of face-coverings in K-12 education settings where social distancing is not possible. Additionally, NCSD will continue to work in direct collaboration with the Casper-Natrona County Health Department and state health officials regarding COVID-19 health orders for upcoming events and activities.
