NCSD Students Jump For Fitness, Fun, and Community Impact

From the first jump to the final tally, students, staff, and families rallied around a shared goal, supporting healthier lives for others while celebrating movement, teamwork, and healthy habits.

With a primary focus on providing helpful tools for educators, the program also includes health education resources and an option for students to participate in fundraising. During P.E. classes, students learned about heart health, physical fitness, and the importance of lifelong healthy habits, exercise, balanced nutrition, and staying active in fun, engaging ways. Students also completed a variety of jump rope challenges designed to build endurance, coordination, and teamwork. These challenges encouraged students to set personal goals, track their progress, and learn how small daily choices can contribute to long-term wellness.

Congratulations to Mickey Rone from Summit Elementary and Ava Hamrick from Fort Caspar Academy, who ranked among the top three participants statewide for their fundraising and engagement efforts.
