In this course, students study fundamental concepts of life and biological functions, as well as how technology can transform the scientific world.
In a recent lab activity, students successfully performed the Gram staining protocol, a foundational technique used to visualize bacteria under a microscope. Working collaboratively in teams, they carefully transferred different bacterial samples from petri dishes onto microscope slides and followed the precise steps of the Gram staining process. Through this hands-on experience, students observed and identified the types of bacteria present in each sample, reinforcing both their technical skills and their understanding of microbiology.
