Dual Language Immersion is a parent choice program that begins in Kindergarten at the following schools: Paradise Valley Elementary School (Mandarin Chinese), Park Elementary School (Spanish), and Verda James Elementary School (Spanish).
NCSD Kindergarten Enrollment for the upcoming 2026-2027 Academic Year begins during the upcoming School Choice Registration window - December 1st, 2025, through January 16th, 2026.
Parents and guardians must choose the DLI option during the School Choice Registration process and attend an informational meeting to be eligible for potential enrollment into the DLI program(s).
*If a family already has a student previously enrolled in the DLI program, you will not need to attend a parent meeting or sign a commitment form.
The DLI parent meetings for incoming kindergarten students are scheduled for the following dates and times:
- Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 6:00 PM
- Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 6:00 PM
- Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 12:00 and 6:00 PM
- Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM
All of the above meetings will be held at NCSD’s Central Services.
