NCSD Statement of Clarity: TPUSA Club America Chapters

NCSD is proud to support all student-led clubs and activities. These opportunities empower student voices, interests, and engagement while enriching connection, belonging, and leadership in our schools. They have a profound positive impact on the educational environment and student experience.

There are currently two Club America Chapters in NCSD: one at Natrona County High School (NCHS) and one at Kelly Walsh High School (KWHS). These student-led clubs reflect the initiative and civic engagement of our students and have been supported in their creation by school administrators across the district.

Natrona County School District student-led clubs and activities are aligned with processes to support students and staff. NCHS Administration provided guidance regarding established district processes for student meetings, school-based advertising, school-based media engagement, and on-campus activities. We want to acknowledge and thank the student leader of NCHS’s Club America Chapter for following the school processes as outlined by Principal Wilson.

As always, the choices and actions of students outside of school are the decision of students and their parents/guardians. When students choose to participate in events, media interviews, or other off-campus activities that are not approved as school-sponsored, they are doing so as individuals and do not represent the school, student clubs, or the district.

We commend students who engage in their schools through participation in clubs, activities, athletics, or events. Student leaders at NCHS and KWHS took the initiative to start TPUSA Club America Chapters. Their dedication to building and growing a club that engages their interested peers demonstrates strong leadership and a desire to positively contribute to the school community.
