actionbasedlearning - This site is dedicated to strategies that incorporate enhancement of the brain and academic learning though activity.

americanheart.org - This is the Wyoming site that provides free information and materials to anyone who works with children and youth.  Their main focus is healthy nutrition and physical activity.

actionforhealthykids- This is the Wyoming site that provides free information and materials to anyone who works with children and youth.  Their main focus is healthy nutrition and physical activity.

cdc.gov - This is the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  The site is an endless source of information from health promotion to national data and statistics.

Fitnessgram.net - This site is devoted to providing all necessary resources to the Fitnessgram and Activitygram.  Our district has a networked version of the Fitnessgram, and this site serves as the first resource for finding any information or technical assistance.

healthierUS.gov - This site is a good beginning to finding out more on physical activity and nutrition ideas.  The President's Challenge is a link on this site.  Great for researching health issues.

healthteacher.com- A site purchased for the district with lesson ideas for all health standards and physical activity as well.
        *Remember this site is a register site.  Contact the hpegrant address for the registration codes.

humankinetics.com - This site is a resource site for books and materials to be used in your classroom to enhance your instruction and curriculum.

mypyramid.gov - Information on nutrition for children and the site for the "new" food pyramid.  Free resources available at this site.

nutritionexplorations.org - A site devoted fully to nutrition.  Get ideas for games, materials, and menus of all kinds.

pecentral.com - A site for health and pe teachers for lesson ideas and much more.

pelinks4u.com - This is a sight that encompasses lesson plans in health and PE.  The site also provides various other information related to health and fitness.

pe4life.org - This site is sponsored by NASPE and provides information on PE action kits, National PE day, professional development and more.

TEACCHHPE- This is the site for the University of Wyoming health and PE network.  Assessment, conferences, and workshop information is located at this site.  Also, a great source for best practice collaboration.

smallstep.gov - This site is sponsored by the Health and Human Services Department and contains information on healthy food and physical activity options, this site is also a good site for kids to visit.

WAHPERD- This is the site for the University of Wyoming health and PE network.  Assessment, conferences, and workshop information is located at this site.  Also, a great source for best practice collaboration.

wdairycouncil.com - A sight devoted to nutrition information and resources that  can be downloaded for use.  If you find an item that would be useful, email the above address before purchasing.  The PEP grant may be able to cover the purchase for you.
