Career Technical Education
Our mission is to prepare today’s students for the challenges of tomorrow. Career and Technical Education (CTE) in Natrona County School District offers students exploration and preparation for high demand, high skill career opportunities. All CTE students are expected to meet challenging academic standards and acquire communication, problem-solving, and the technical skills necessary to succeed in post-secondary and career employment opportunities. The sixth-grade career and technical education exploratory course is designed to help students identify interests, traits, and skills that will connect them to future career planning. In grades seven through twelve, CTE provides students with career preparation programs covering a multitude of applied technical skills and knowledge leading to post-secondary and career placement opportunities.
