Story Image

A final collection of "Two Tons of Love," Kelly Walsh High School's food drive to raise two tons of food for the Holy Cross Food Bank and two tons of dog food for the Casper Humane Society, will be held at the school at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23. At this time, all schools involved with ELATE* (Eastside Learning and Activity Team Experience), as well as Prince of Peace Preschool, will bring their donations. Contributions will be totaled and students and staff from KWHS will deliver the donations. (See the attached poster for more information.)

At 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, the Kelly Walsh High School Key Club will sponsor a turkey bowling event. Anyone bring a turkey or $10 to donate to the Salvation Army will have the opportunity to bowl a "stunt" turkey and receive a turkey bowling shirt. (See the shirt design, created by KW students, attached to this message.) Bowling will take place in the front hallway and upper gym at Kelly Walsh High School.

* Schools involved with ELATE are Kelly Walsh High, Centennial Junior High, Frontier Middle School, Dean Morgan Junior High, Casper Classical Academy, Woods Learning Center, Verda James Elementary, Sagewood Elementary, Pineview Elementary, Manor Heights Elementary, Willard Elementary, Evansville Elementary and Star Lane Center.
