to the 'Home Page' of Special Education Services of Natrona County School District in Casper, Wyoming. Natrona County School District serves students in Casper, Evansville, Mills, Midwest, and the rural schools at Alcova, Powder River, Red Creek and Willow Creek.
Casper is a mile high community in central Wyoming on the eastern fringe of the Rocky Mountains. Casper with a population of around 50,000 is the second largest city in Wyoming. The population of Natrona County is just over 70,000. Approximately 13% of students enrolled in Natrona County School District's 34 schools receive special education services.
Historically Natrona County may be called the crossroads of the West. The Bozeman, Oregon, Mormon, and California Trails all passed through the Casper area.
