ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Dean Morgan Junior High has two fundamental concepts: “Kids First” and “Be Kind.” We have a long tradition of excellence. Parents, students and staff members are encouraged to participate in the operation of the school. Our block schedule creates opportunities for students to enroll in different courses and with a greater level of learning. Our school models and promotes: knowledge/skills mastery, visibility, accessibility, accountability, academic excellence, independent learning, citizenship, work ethic, diversity, safety, communication, healthy lifestyles and lifelong learning.

OUR STAFF
We have 60 regular education teachers, including an art teacher, four music teachers, six PE teachers and three tutors. Eight resource teachers also serve our school. Staff and students also are supported by the office, administrative, custodial and cafeteria staff.
