Park School's Philosophy
Park School believes in the opportunity for every learner to experience success and stretch to their maximum potential. The school's mission statement says, "We are a community of lifelong learners dedicated to the pursuit of excellence and to the full development of each individual."
Park School Features
• Multiage Classrooms - two grades are together with the older students modeling the expected behavior and attitude toward learning for the younger students
• Team Teaching - two teachers with forty students, two teaching styles, two caring personalities, diverse backgrounds of two professionals
• Thematic Units - language arts, math, science, and social studies taught within a student-centered theme with hands-on learning and utilization of community resources
• Spanish Instruction - 15-20 minutes of daily instruction provided by a full-time certified teacher to grades K-6
