An integrated, multi-sensory language arts program helps students develop strong reading and writing skills. Students learn how to be active readers by reading quality literature. Students also use the 6+1 Traits of Writing to improve their written communication skills.
Science and social studies are taught to the Wyoming State Standards, using a variety of dynamic resources that tie into language arts and math skills.
Enrichment opportunities are available for students, and a variety of services are available for both special education and at-risk students.
North Casper also is home to two different half-day preschools. One preschool is federally funded and available to children of low-income families based on need. The other is a kindergarten prep preschool funded by Title I. |
