In the past, employees received all of their benefits up front July 1. With the new Links system, all benefits will now be accumulated (i.e., sick leave, personal day leave, annual leave, sub dock, etc.).
Employees can use as much time as they expect to accumulate in a year. They then would see a negative leave total on their paychecks. If an employee ends employment with the district prior to the end of the fiscal year, the amount will be deducted from their final paycheck.
As a recent news flash stated, employee agreements and contracts are going out a little later than usual, and will be sent out the first part of this month. Hopefully you’ve already received them! We appreciate your patience and apologize for this delay.
