Our families
Grant is about children, and families are an integral part of children's lives and education.
As part of Grant's Title I program, parents sign a compact that asks them to communicate with and support the school and staff. Families also are asked to make sure children attend school regularly, arrive on time and complete homework as assigned.
Parents are strongly encouraged to talk with their children daily about school, to encourage them with praise and to ask them questions about their reading.
Finally, families are expected to attend conferences and school functions to show their child they support what is happening at school.
