Midwest High School: 92.3% (from 83.3%)

Natrona County High School: 81.3% (from 81.6%)

Roosevelt High School, NCSD’s alternative high school, had a graduation rate of 61.12%, a 16.9% point increase from last year.  This is the first year of the implementation of Regulation 6400 changes, which identifies 20 credits required for graduation at the alternative high school.

“The steadiness of the NCSD graduation rate is a testament to the dedicated work of students, parents, teachers, and staff. We are exceedingly proud of our students, staff, and school families for their dedication to continued educational excellence amid a global pandemic,” Superintendent Jennings said. “Last spring was a challenging and quick transition to virtual learning for all. The graduating class of 2020 persevered with continued high expectations for themselves, a commitment to success, and true determination and effort to achieve academic excellence each day. We are incredibly proud of their resilience and success.”

The increase is an instrumental step towards NCSD’s Strategic Goal of improving high school graduation rates with intentional planning and collaboration between students, parents, and schools.

We sincerely appreciate our valued staff, parents, and community for their partnership in assisting us towards our mission to empower every learner to grow, excel and be a successful contributor to the local and global community.

Great work, students!
